We're looking for a talented field based HR Business Partner to join our growing team. You'll support our network of stores working closely with Regional Managers to deliver HR practices aligned to business objectives. Reporting to the Divisional HR Business Partner you’ll be involved in all aspects of the HR services and act as the key interface between HR and Store Operations. To be successful in this role you’ll need to have excellent communication and organisational skills, have the ability to absorb and retain information quickly and have a keen eye for detail. Finally, you’ll have a passion for people and exceeding expectations as well as your own and we’ll support you every step of the way. Due to the demands of this prestigious position, we are looking for a dynamic and well-motivated individual. Key duties and responsibilities include: • Play an active role in overturning leaver decisions for key roles to improve turnover • Coach and support managers to take ownership of vacancies, providing guidance on recruitment activity • Be actively involved in the on boarding process for all new starters • Act as the first line of contact in Human Resources for any employee relations issues within designated regions • Support, develop and coach people managers to manage employee relations issues using the Vision Express policies, procedures and best practice • Work alongside Regional Managers and Store Managers to ensure maximum quality and compliance towards PDR submissions; capturing learning and development trends and needs within designated regions • Support Senior HRBP’s to manage talent maps • Coach Store Managers & Regional Managers to carefully map and create succession plans (Short & long term) • Identify immediate resource needs/gaps working with the Learning and Development team to create programmes to directly support these needs • Support the business with specific change programmes • Partner with Senior HRBP’s and other HR colleagues in the implementation of the strategic HR Plan, projects and initiatives at Vision Express • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure that all HR project and initiatives are appropriately communicated and implemented on a local basis.


Job Requirements

The successful candidate must:
* Have experience of working at HR Advisor level
* Be commercially astute, results driven and adaptable
* Have strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure
* Be customer focused and be able to apply commercial focus and legislative knowledge to real situations in a business environment
* Be able to use initiative and operate on a self-sufficient and autonomous basis,
* Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Be proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
* CIPD qualified
The role will is field based and will require travel within designated regions or other locations in UK and ROI and therefore a driving licence is essential. Flexibility in working hours will be required to meet demands of the role
