The Advisory team provide a quality HR support service to our stores and Support Centre.
The Recruitment team is involved in all aspects of the recruitment process, from the creation of vacancies right through to the offer of employment. Their aim is to recruit the best talent into the business. The busy Payroll team ensures timely and accurate payment to all employees within our store network, Support Centre and Tech Centre.
Acting as the key interface between HR and Store Operations, our field-based HR Business Partners work closely with regional managers to ensure HR practice is closely aligned to our wider business objectives.
Learning and Development
The significance we place on learning and development is reflected in the number of development programmes we have to offer our people, from Steps to Success right through to the Rising Stars Training Academy. These are designed and delivered by a passionate team which ensures everyone within the business achieves their true potential.
The development of our professional teams is equally as important. In addition to a highly-regarded pre-registration programme for our future optometrists, we offer sponsorship for ophthalmic dispensing courses.
We also have a growing 13-month apprenticeship programme, leading to a Level 2 qualification in Optical Retail. The programme is managed and delivered by our own training experts and was recently rated ‘good’ by OFSTED.
