Job Description

We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to join our property team here in our store support centre in Ruddington, Nottingham. As a Facilities & Maintenance Manager, you will Oversee management of external maintenance and ensure all works relating to planned & statutory maintenance are carried out in timely fashion and in a cost-effective manner, you will ensure that all up and coming legislation that impacts on the business is well defined and briefed to the effected party.

 

What can you expect from the role?

As a Facilities & Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for the daily management of maintenance procedures, ensuring that key KPI’s and service delivery to store teams is achieved to improve performance and cost management for the business. You will also be responsible for:

 

  • Conducting and maintaining an approved contractor/supplier register ensuring PQQ’s are conducted and the ongoing compliance is adhered to.
  • Overseeing the running of FM Coordinators, Reception, Postroom, and the In-House Support Office maintenance teams.
  • Compiling a full suite of Facilities Management reports that will be presented to the Property Director and Executive team on a monthly basis.
  • Management of third-party logistics companies to procure, stock-hold and distribute majority of the GNFR for the business and the execution of the business investment plan for optometry equipment.
  • Providing a responsive service to support office for all areas of Facilities Management & Maintenance ensuring a pro-active approach is taken with regards to maintenance & associated works.
  • Maintenance and procurement of optometry equipment
