Role overview

As In Store Communications Manager at Vision Express, you’ll be responsible for in-store communications including implementing marketing materials for store re-models, new store openings, and brand activation trials. You’ll work cross functionally with the product and store development teams to project manage projects, ensuring that all activity is delivered on time and within budget.


You will lead projects to ensure the Vision Express brand is communicated consistently in stores and to continually improve store appearance. You will mange projects to introduce new brands and reflect price changes across a complex store estate. Also, you will manage the store POS database.


Your responsibilities will include conducting store visits to evaluate point-of-sale materials, and supporting stores to ensure they implement them in line with the retail excellence guide. You’ll work with the Senior Brand Manager to ensure that the guide is up to date with permanent and temporary point-of-sale. You’ll manage the print company and work with the creative agency to deliver materials throughout the year. Additionally, you’ll liaise with our store colleagues and managers to gather feedback on marketing materials, to optimise implementation and share learnings for future activity.

Who is the perfect candidate?

  • In-depth experience in project managing marketing campaigns, particularly in-store points-of-sale
  • Experience managing print and creative agencies, including developing relationships and ensuring deliverables are met
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and build partnerships with external stakeholders
  • Proven experience leading and developing a team
  • Confidence, passion, drive, and enthusiasm
  • Confident communicator and accomplished presenter with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ideally with around 5 years of retail or marketing experience.
