Finance Manager – Joint Venture  

Location: Ruddington, Nottingham (Hybrid)  

Step into a role that’s much more than day tod ay finance, the Finance Manager opportunity gives you the chance to influence financial performance across a diverse Joint Venture store portfolio. As a Finance Manager, you’ll work closely with senior leaders, Business Operations Managers and Joint Venture Partners to ensure accurate financial reporting, drive profitability and support strategic decision making across the network.

As a Finance Manager, you’ll partner with stakeholders across Joint Venture stores to support performance, guide financial decisions and ensure robust financial control. 

Strategic & Commercially Focused 
You will lead financial planning activities including budgeting, reforecasting, payback assessments, business case support and production of high quality management information -  all crucial for the success of our Joint Venture estate. 

Collaborative Business Partnering 
Working closely with the local finance team, the global shared service centre, Business Development and senior operational leaders, the Finance Manager ensures consistency, accuracy and insight in all financial outputs.

What We’re Looking For 

• Experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, with strong business partnering skills 

• Background supporting senior management or executive stakeholders 

• Strong financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience 

• Highly proficient in Excel and MS Office; SAP, BI or Essbase experience beneficial 

• Ability to analyse financial performance and provide clear, actionable insight 

• Skilled in producing management information and presenting financial updates 

• Experience coaching or developing a team 

• Adaptable, commercially aware and confident in influencing decisions 

Key Responsibilities Include 

• Financial management of the Joint Venture store portfolio 

• Ensuring accuracy of JV accounts in partnership with local and global shared service teams 

• Providing financial guidance to JV Partners, Franchisees and Business Operations Managers 

• Supporting store performance improvements across the estate 

• Delivering highquality management information and insights 

• Leading budget cycles and full P&L reforecasts 

• Supporting business development through payback modelling and business case preparation 

• Presenting Finance updates at key meetings and leading the Finance Champion Group 

• Managing and developing a team of Finance Analysts
