Accounts Payable Team Leader - Processing

Job Description

We’ve got an exciting opportunity for Account Payable Team Leader - Processing to join our team based in our Store Support Centre in Ruddington. In this role you’ll be there to make sure that the Accounts Payable team delivers all aspects relating to the administration and processing of all incoming supplier invoices with respect to payments due and in accordance with the businesses procedures, policy and regulations.

What can you expect from the role?

As an Accounts Payable Team Leader - Processing this role will see you supervise and support the Accounts Payable team’s performance by ensuring inbound administration and invoice processing is performed to a high standard, this is to make sure the operational reputation with other departments, suppliers and external customers is maintained. You will achieve this by working with the direct reports and members within the team, as well as working closely with key stakeholders across the Finance team, to make sure appropriate service levels are achieved and areas for improvement are identified and acted upon.

About you

Due to the nature of the role, we’re looking for someone with the leadership qualities to shape and grow the Account Payable Processing team. You will need to have a good overall understanding of the accounts payable process and as you will be line managing five members of the team,  previous line manager experience is advantageous.
