Based in Ruddington, Nottingham we're looking for an IT Helpdesk Analyst to work in our IT Department supporting our network of stores.

We’re looking for someone to be a single point of contact for all Stores providing a service for resolution, including advice and problem diagnosis. You’ll need to analyse the nature of each query and provide a suitable solution within the necessary timescales. You’ll need to assess situations and escalate problems that could potentially have a severe impact on the business. Another part of this interesting role includes carrying out system builds, configuring, shipping and installing new equipment.

Who is the perfect candidate?

  • Ideally you’ll be able to demonstrate:
    • The ability to assimilate information from multiple sources to find the cause of a problem
    • The ability to confidently communicate with all customers and display excellent levels of service
    • That you can work effectively within a team with minimal supervision and using your own initiative
    • An understanding of the topology and equipment within a store.
    • A level of creativity and flair in solving problems
    • A natural can-do approach
    • The ability to drive a difficult situation or task through to conclusion, sometimes under pressure
    • Initiative to achieve goals
