Professional Resource Planner

Are you organised and proactive in your work and someone who enjoys finding opportunities for improvement? Our central operations team are looking for a resource planner to support the planning of our clinic requirements, ensuring that we have the right number of colleagues available in store each day to continue to provide outstanding service to our customers. Previous optical experience is not necessary, we can provide you with all the training and support that you need to be successful.

What can you expect from the role?

You’ll be working with the operational team to gain a full understanding of how we work. Then, using your knowledge and skills you’ll provide insight on key trend sharing this with our Regional and Senior Management teams.  You’ll also look for opportunities to make efficiencies in our processes and identify potential cost savings.

Detail orientated and results focused, we’ll look to you to develop and maintain budgets to ensure we’re offering competitive market rates across all regions within our operated business.  You’ll build strong working relationships with external agencies to ensure we have ad-hoc locum cover when we need it.

About you

We’re looking for candidates with previous experience of resource planning, ideally within a fast-paced retailer. To be successful, your focus will centre around our desire to always deliver an exceptional customer journey. This is important to us, so it is key you share this passion. You’ll have the customer journey in mind with every decision that you make.

You’ll enjoy being in the detail and be prepared to get involved. A truly, self-motivated, team player with great organisational skills coupled with great written and verbal communication is key to being successful in this role.
